LAS VEGAS, NV (November 18, 2013) — Extending its commitment to sustainable manufacturing, Creel Printing has achieved Tri-Certification. This distinction underscores Creel’s responsible stewardship and signifies its compliance with the exacting standards of three top environmental authorities—the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®) License code FSC-CO22441, the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) NSC-SFICOC-C0171470, and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) NSF-PEFCCOC-C0171470. Moreover, it provides Creel’s customers the assurance that manufacturing materials are trackable from their origin—and fully sustainable.
Tri-Certification augments Creel’s long history of leadership in “green” practices and production. Creel began utilizing FSC-qualified materials in 2007, and boasts one of the most extensive recycling/recapture programs in the nation. Through these and other initiatives, Creel continues to bring market-superior sustainability solutions that help clients meet their own compliance and end-customer goals. They have also resulted in attractive cost savings—for both Creel and its customers. A rigorous process, Tri-Certification has been achieved by only a handful of graphic arts suppliers.
“Creel is a company that is always seeking new ways to make meaningful contributions that help customers move forward,” said Ed Gudewicz, Quality Control Manager. “Our Tri-Certification is an accolade that clients can leverage in their own sustainability and marketing initiatives.”
